AuraLast Wood

JELD-WEN Windows and Doors come in either Clad-Wood exteriors or Primed Wood Exteriors. With the Clad-Wood exterior, you get steadfast protection form the elements making your windows and doors appropriate for almost every climate with minimal maintenance. With extensive range of metal clad finishes, you can select the color that is best suited to your home. With the Primed Wood exteriors, you gain greater design freedom, because they can be painted any color you want. They feature factory-applied primer which helps paint adhere to the wood. What’s more, AuraLast wood significantly reduces the amount wood swells and contracts, so less maintenance is required. The clear wood interiors can be panted or stained.
Low-E insulating glass is standard on all JELD-WEN wood windows and patio doors! Low-E insulating glass provides the best year-round performance and lowers energy costs by at least 13% (based on savings over clear glass) Low-E glass blocks 83% of harmful UV rays and 96 % of the sun’s infrared heat, so your home stays cooler in the summer and interior furnishings fade less. JELD-WEN windows and doors have various grille options to meet your needs. SDL (simulated divided lites) are the most authentic divided lite appearance. The SDL options includes interior wood bars, optional shadow bars between the glass and exterior metal bars that are permanently attached to the exterior glass. The FS or Full-Surround wood grilles are an economical way to achieve the look of divided lites. The grilles are positioned on the interior glass and can be removed for easy cleaning. The GBG (grilles between the glass) is an easy way to add decorative appeal to your home, the grilles are placed between the panes of insulating glass, so they are maintenance-free!
